Although there is a growing demand for sleep aids and relaxation tools, many existing solutions rely on generalized meditation scripts or conversational approaches that fall short in delivering scientifically measurable results. The startup needed a way to differentiate from crowded wellness apps, ground its product in scientific data and methodologies rather than subjective relaxation cues, and create a scalable and personalized solution capable of adapting to individual sleep patterns and preferences.

We partnered with the healthcare startup to design and deliver a holistic digital solution. This included a sleek, user-friendly mobile application designed for daily use, giving users access to personalized sleep-improvement journeys. At its core was an AI recommendation system—a machine learning engine that analyzed user data and patterns to provide tailored sleep enhancement strategies, ensuring that relaxation methods matched each individual’s physiological and psychological needs. To complement this, we developed scientifically-based relaxation music, with original audio tracks created using neuroscientific and biometric research, specifically designed to trigger relaxation responses proven to aid in deeper, more restorative sleep. Finally, the solution was integrated with the Orca System, supporting the company’s broader wellbeing platform by aligning the sleep improvement technology with existing health monitoring systems.

The result was a next-generation sleep aid that went beyond traditional wellness apps by combining AI, neuroscience, and personalized health innovation. This solution not only improved sleep quality for end users but also positioned the startup as a serious contender in the digital health space. Its recognition by Innovate UK in 2024 reinforced its credibility as one of the most innovative products of the year, paving the way for future growth, partnerships, and expansion into broader wellbeing solutions.
